Is set on the slopes of the hill overlooking the sea, in the northern part of <strong>Maremma<\/strong>, along the <strong>tuscan coast<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The town displays an <strong>enchanting architectural harmony<\/strong> and its ancient walls enclose paved streets lined with stones houses. <strong>Thick cork<\/strong>, <strong>chestnut<\/strong> and <strong>oack woods<\/strong> and <strong>mediterranean scrub grow<\/strong> down all around.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Wine Route<\/strong> winds its way across countryside, full of <b>vineyards<\/b>\u00a0and <strong>century olive trees<\/strong>. The region is swarming with <strong>agricultural enterprises<\/strong>, <strong>oil mills<\/strong>, <strong>wineries<\/strong>, <strong>farm holiday resort<\/strong> where you can try <strong>local products<\/strong> and <strong>traditional dishes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The climate<\/strong> is <strong>mild<\/strong>, <strong>warm<\/strong> and <strong>temperate<\/strong>. It\u2019s characterized by <strong>dry summers<\/strong> and <strong>wetter winters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The climate of the <strong>Maremma<\/strong> has <strong>Mediterranean characteristics along the coast<\/strong>, while taking <strong>more continental character inwards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The distant mountains of <strong>Corsica<\/strong> to the west and the nearest reliefs of <strong>Elba Island<\/strong> tend to deflect or mitigate the Atlantic perturbations, thus limiting the annual water supply between 600 and 700 mm annual average.<\/p>\n<p>Along the coast of the Maremma sunshine reaches in average high annual values: over 7 hours of sunshine a day, with a minimum in December around 4 hours a day and the highest in June and July with values of more than 11 hours of sunlight a day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suveretowine.com\">https:\/\/www.suveretowine.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suvereto.net\">https:\/\/www.suvereto.net<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Suvereto is a lovely medieval village, rich in history and art, whose origins date back to before the year 1000.
