Isyrose is the result of a white vinification of Syrah grapes. From a certain point of view an uncommon rosé, which combines fruit, freshness with a certain structure. A wine for the whole meal, rich in scents and aromas.

Elice

One day Elice, a nymph dear to Diana the goddess of the forest, was approached and seduced by Jupiter, causing the jealousy of Juno. After the birth of Arcade, son of the god and the nymph, Juno doesn’t hold back her anger and turns poor Elice into a big bear. For years she will wander in the woods until she meets her son who, ignoring that she was his mother, is going to kill her. Then Jupiter lifts Elice and Arcade on the wings of the wind and transports them into the sky. He transforms Elice into the constellation Ursa Major and Arcade into the constellation Bootes, close forever.

Elice is our cru of vermentino: it is made from only grapes from a little vineyard thet we call the “Punta”. Turned south, steep and stony, it lies on a tongue of limestone rock. The resulting winehas a great purity taste, complex and elegant with a distinct minerality. It has a unique personality, with excellent prospects of a long aging in the bottle.

Our Alicante is a wine of great personality, powerful and at the same time intriguing. Rich and fragrant, it has a great drinkability with hints of spices and black fruit. His colour is really intense, impenetrable.

Cabernet Franc

Our selection of Cabernet Franc. A great wine to satisfy the most discerning palates. It has a dual personality: complex and deep, reveals hints of red fruits like black currant, strawberry and raspberry while being oxygenated in the glass. Fine and elegant it has all the characteristics of the grape and our territory. We like to drink it slowly, because it changes every time, glass after glass, all the evening and the following day too.

Bauci

The legend of Filemone and Bauci is handed down in the eighth book of Ovid’s Metamorphoses. Zeus and Hermes, wandering through Phrygia in human form, knocking at a thousand doors, asked everywhere for hospitality and everywhere were denied their welcome. Only one house offered asylum: it was a hut, built with reeds and mud. Here, Filemone and the pious Bauci, united in chaste marriage, saw their beautiful days together, growing old enduring poverty, made sweeter and lighter by their tender bond». Zeus unleashed his anger against the Phrygians but spared Filemone and Bauci, turning their poor hut into a luxurious temple and offering to fulfill any of their wishes. They only asked to be priests of the temple of Zeus and die together.
When Filemone and Bauci were close to death, Zeus transformed them into an oak and a lime tree united by the trunk. This wonderful tree, which stood in front of the temple, was venerated for years by the faithful.

Bauci, is a 100% Viognier, a strong character wine. With the typical richness of the grape, reveals in the mouth a sharp soul, typical of our territory, given by the natural acidity and minerality, for a perfect balancing. The nose has hints of white peach and herbs, sage and wet stone. The flavours are very incisive and point to the cooler night time temperatures and cold breezes that the vines are exposed to, which imbue the grapes with so much freshness and verve.

Pitis

In ancient Greece the myth of Pitis was narrated, a nymph who had two suitors: Pan, the god of the woods and the god Borea, or the wind of the North. Pitis, however, was in love with Pan and when she chose to bind herself to him, the cold north wind blew so hard that she fell from a cliff. The goddess Terra then transformed it into a pine; the resin that is sometimes seen on the barks of the pines, when the north wind blows, represents the tears of Pitis.

Pitis is a selection of Syrah coming from the vineyards of Punta and Romano, where we planted clones coming from Rhone valley. Pitis maintains the characteristics of Syrah grown on poor and stony soils. Red fruits and spices with hints of graphite at the nose, the mouth reveals nice contrasts, drinkability. Long aging in the cellar, unleashes power and finesse at the same time.

Fillide

Fillide, a young and beautiful Thracian princess, was in love with Acamante.
During the Trojan War, Acamante departed with Diomedes, following the Achaeans.
After ten long years, during which the beautiful princess had waited for the return of her beloved, the survivors returned from the war.
The princess, not seeing Acamante among them, thought that he had died and taken from despair, took his own life.
The goddess Athena, merciless for this tragedy, transformed Fillide into a tree: the Almond tree. Acamante, late back in his homeland, learned of Fillide’s death and his transformation into an almond tree and embraced his beloved.
It was so, that suddenly, the bare branches of the almond tree were covered with flowers instead of leaves, as if to reciprocate the tender embrace of Acamante.

Sangiovese, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet

Fillide is the only blend we are making. Sangiovese, Syrah and Alicante blend together their features to express the full potential of our terroir. The result is a fresh and fruity wine, perfectly balanced, with intense fruit aromas, full-bodied, with soft tannins. A nice wine, at the same time easy to drink and to eat with.
